Retro kitchen ideas (on a budget)?
My fiance (21) just let me know he'd love a 1950's type of retro kitchen. I was hoping for a country or french / tuscon style kitchen. Can we mesh this together somehow, or I also like the retro idea of his.. but am scared of trying to make a retro kitchen on a shoe string budget (plus I've always done other styles and have no clue how to do retro!)... Any good tips, web sites, ideas ?
So far we have light sage green walls (very muted pale green - warmer not cooler color). We have some red small appliances.. Green victorian styled dishes (ornate edges - solid green).
I'm heading towards one design (victorian farm house?) and I don't know how to slide into his love of RED vintage or retro!
